Yellow Zone
A non-lethal PvP zone where hostile players can attack, but defeat normally causes a knockdown instead of full-loot death.
Suggest an editYellow zones are the transition between safe Royal Continent play and lethal PvP. Hostile flagging is available, yet ordinary PvP defeat results in a knockdown and durability loss rather than dropping carried equipment.
PvP and defeat rules
A hostile-flagged player can attack eligible players. Dropping to zero health through normal PvP causes a knockdown, a durability penalty on equippable items, and system-generated Silver on the ground. Inventory Silver is not removed.
Role in the world
Yellow zones let players practice watching hostile counters, choosing routes, escaping attackers, and joining faction fights without the normal full-loot penalty.
Special activities
Some portals and activities apply their own rules. Yellow-zone Ancient Lands portals lead to the non-lethal Orange Zone version of that activity.
